Running Windows Sandbox as a standard user
https://www.systanddeploy.com/2019/06/running-windows-sandbox-as-standard-user.html
In this post I will show you how to run Windows Sandbox with a standard user, meaning who is not member of the local administrator group.
How to proceed ?
For now to run a sandbox you will need some admin rights, so you can't with a standard user.
Hovewer no need to be member of the local admin group.
This is pretty simple, you you just have to add the user to the Hyper-V Administrators Group.
Then the standard user will be allowed to run Sandbox.
In the below example the user is not member if this group. After running Sandbox, it will ask for admin rights.
In the below example, the user has been added in the Hyper-V Admin group.
